A licensed real estate professional and fiduciary for the party seeking to purchase a property (not be confused with a seller’s agent, which represents the other party). Prior to a contract being signed, the agent representing the buyer is referred to as the buyer’s agent. After the two parties agree to terms and the property is under contract, the buyer’s agent is known as a selling agent.
