The borrower purchased the property in an REO sale for $210,000 and completely renovated the house for $125,000. The renovation took about five months, during which the house was completely renovated and transformed from an outdated, poorly-maintained mess into a stunning showpiece. The house is listed for sale for over $500,000, which will net the borrower a profit of more than 40%! This is a great example of how a successful fix and flip can both benefit a neighborhood and earn a great return for a skilled property investor.
